BandwagonHost announced on May 12, 2026 that new hardware is live in the New York USNY_6 and USNY_8 locations. This is a datacenter hardware update, not a new product family or new plan ID.
What changed
- USNY_6 and USNY_8 are now backed by AMD EPYC servers with NVMe RAID-10 storage.
- New VPS instances in these locations are deployed on the new nodes automatically.
- Existing VPS users can check KiwiVM for the free upgrade option.
- The official product catalog still contains the same 48 VPS products.
Who should care
The update is useful if you want a US East Coast location, need a backup node outside Los Angeles, or want to compare New York routing against other BandwagonHost datacenters.
